The Arcata Gathering 2024 will consider the mutually beneficial relationship between artists and natural world, through conversation, reflection and art-making. Daily activities will include a group morning hike, time for individual study and reflection, a Daily Meeting for in-depth conversations on topics of common interest, a chance for participants to speak about specific music issues or research pathways, and a daily evening concert. The group will remain together in the daily hikes, meetings, rehearsals, and meals. Individual times, including the midday meal, will be respected as moments for personal work or reflection.
